Three early inscriptions on title page, including an ownership inscription here conjectured to be that of Rottenbuch Abbey (Sum religioso[ru]m Fr[atr]um in Rottenbuech). Early marginalia throughout. Purchased in June 1935.

BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.405.44 bound by Riviere and Son in modern green goatskin. Spine ruled and stamped in blind with title stamped in gilt.
